Terms & conditions

These terms set out the basis on which Newham Rubbish Removals provides quotes and rubbish removal, waste clearance and related services. They are a summary; the booking confirmation you receive when you accept a quote takes precedence.

Quotes

A quote is based on the information you give us about what needs clearing, the volume and the access. If the actual job differs materially — more waste, restricted access, added items — the price may change, and we’ll tell you before proceeding. A written quote is valid for thirty days from its date unless it says otherwise.

Booking

Your clearance is confirmed when you accept the quote. If you need to cancel or rearrange, let us know as far ahead as you reasonably can so we can offer the slot to someone else. Where a deposit has been taken and you cancel within fourteen days and before any work has begun, it is refundable.

Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information about what needs clearing, the address and the access.
• Tell us in advance about anything hazardous or restricted (see below).
• Ensure the items to be cleared are the ones you want removed, and that you’re entitled to have them removed.
• Provide access on the agreed day, or arrange for someone to do so.

What we can’t take

Some materials require specialist handling and are outside our normal service — including asbestos, chemicals, clinical or medical waste, gas bottles and certain other hazardous items. Tell us if you think any of these are present and we’ll advise on the right route. We will not remove items we reasonably believe you are not entitled to dispose of.

Licensing and disposal

We are a licensed waste carrier and dispose of collected waste responsibly through licensed facilities. Waste transfer documentation is available on request. See our licensed waste carrier page.

Liability

We carry out clearances with care and take reasonable steps to protect the property during the job. If you believe damage has been caused by us, report it in writing within seven days so we can investigate. Our liability is limited to the terms set out in the booking confirmation.

Payment

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion of the clearance. Payment terms are set out in the booking confirmation.
